2008 Update

I was at the Make Mine a Million $ Business http://www.makemineamillion.org/ event in Burbank in January. It was the day after the awards and we were at the seminar, talking about our struggles and progress since joining the Count Me In http://www.countmein.org/ community. I shared that two years ago I was worried that I ought to close my busines and find a job. But through utilizing the resources provided by Make Mine a Million and CMI, I instead refocused my efforts on growing the business and reaching out (rather than recoiling in fear) and in 2007 I hired 5 new pepole and my gross revenues were up 20%. My profitability increased by 250%. When my vision got big, so did the numbers, and it was Make Mine a Million $ Business that inspired me to that vision.

Now for a quick 2008 update: during the first 6 weeks of the year, we're up 60% year to date. I'm repaying my lines of credit and I've hired two new employees. I'm working with a terrific business coach, Dennis McCue, http://www.dynamicfirm.com/ and we've got an ad campaign going with Val Pak.

I've moved my $1 million in gross revenues ahead by 1 year, and I'm shooting for it to happen this year. That's a big goal, but I've learned the difference between thinking big and thinking small, and I like thinking BIG much better!
